Student advising is here to listen to all your needs, and to help you develop meaningful solutions so you can grow and learn in a healthy environment. USV is dedicated to providing a safe and secure environment for the students, faculty, staff, and visitors to learn, work, and grow. To that end, we encourage everyone to study all of our campus safety plans in the event of crimes, natural disasters, medical emergencies, fires, and more. We also encourage students to sign up for SMS alerts, which will provide emergency notifications, campus closures, and more via text message.

Requests for official transcripts must be submitted in writing by the student or alumni. A $10 fee will be assessed for each official transcript. Any request for other official documents can be provided by the Registrar’s Office. Click here for additional information.听

Every attending graduate may reserve up to 5 guest tickets. A waitlist is available for up to 5 additional guest tickets (max of 10, excluding the graduate). Waitlist tickets are not guaranteed and are dependent upon how many initial tickets are reserved. If you expect fewer guests, we kindly request you limit your initial number of tickets, so we can make more available to graduates with larger groups.听
For anyone not able to get a ticket, the event will be livestreamed.
Caps and gowns will be available the week before commencement at the registrar’s office on campus. We strongly recommend that you pick up your cap and gown in advance, so you have time to steam/iron your gown or decorate your cap prior to the ceremony.听
We are pleased to provide high-resolution commencement photos approximately 4 weeks after the ceremony. There is no charge to download photos.
